We’ve got a release planned and wanted to give you a quick preview of what’s coming. This update includes a privacy improvement and a brand-new feature to make your signing workflows even more flexible.

Privacy Update: Email Address No Longer Shown in Signature
In response to feedback from several customers, we’ve made an important privacy enhancement. Email address of a signer will no longer be shown in the signature field of signed documents. This prevents personal information from being unintentionally shared when forwarding or distributing a signed document.
Rest assured, the email address is still securely recorded and available in the transaction evidence file for verification and compliance purposes.

New Feature: Signer Delegation
We’re also introducing Signer Delegation, giving signers the option to forward a signing request to someone else if needed.

Here’s how it works:
As the sender, you decide whether a signer is allowed to delegate (per signer).
You can also set delegation as the default in your account settings.
If enabled, the signer can forward the request and include a private note for the new signer—only visible to them.

It’s a great solution if:
You don't know who the authorized signatoy is, so the request can be delegated internally to the right person.
You send requests to a shared inbox, and someone needs to redirect them.
A team member checks the document first, then forwards it to the actual signatory.

Heads-up: When signer delegation is enabled, some authentication or verification methods—like phone number verification—may not be available. That’s because the delegated signer may not have the same contact details as the original one.Have any questions in the meantime? Feel free to reach out, we’re happy to help.
